RARA-AVIS: williams, brewer, and rabe

i've read jd macdonald and thompson, but brewer, rabe, and williams are new to me. not a whole lot available from rabe and brewer, but williams looks like an interesting one. hardboiled with a religious theme? thats unusual.

has anybody read williams? what did you think?
