I agree totally with Mario about Bill James. I have read
several in the Harpur&Iles series, and not yet come
across a single bad one. And as Mario said, they are
certainly different. There's this dry, understated humour in
them, yet they are not comedies.
Btw, anyone knows where the novels are supposed to be
set?
