About ten years ago, I saw a movie staring John Lithgow
called, "At Play in the Fields of the Lord."
The movie is about missionary attempts to convert
blood-thirsty natives in the jungles of South America.
I saw the movie as an indictment of agressive missionary
work. A co-worker saw it as a wonderful story of a man trying
to convert the natives to Jesus in spite of the negative
result to the natives and to his own family.
We both saw the same picture. Now there is a case of morality
being in the eye of the beholder. Both opinions appear to be
valid according to a person's focus.
